Join the Provisioning Software team in the Infrastructure Software organization to develop innovative technology for management of the current and next generation of wireless devices and services.
As a Java Developer, you will be focusing on the ongoing evolution of the Provisioning System (PRV), a mission-critical, highly available system based on Java / J2EE and associated technologies.

Responsibilities and tasks will include all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements management, analysis and design, implementation and transition activities. The PRV development process is ISO-compliant, the main focus is the development of a high-quality product. Professionalism and good communication skills are essential in this role.

Skills
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
· Expert level Java knowledge (incl. all aspects of J2EE: EJB, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, JTA, JMX, unit testing frameworks such as JUnit)
· Expert level J2EE Application server knowledge (preferably with BEA WebLogic 8.1)
· Strong background in XML (incl. XML Schema, Namespaces) and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)
· Strong background in database design (Oracle) and programming (PL/SQL)
· Sound knowledge of software architectures, OOA/OOD, design patterns
· Sound knowledge of software engineering practices
· Experience with UML and Software Modeling tools (TogetherJ, Rational Rose)
· Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to operate with change and ambiguity
· Dedication to quality in all deliverables
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
· Hands-on experience developing OSS and/or Provisioning Systems
· Familiarity with wireless network technology (incl. GSM/GPRS, CDMA, iDEN, EDGE, UMTS)
· Familiarity with wireless messaging technology (incl. SMS, EMS, MMS).
· J2ME and J2SE experience
